Our Story
97 Years of Processing Coffee
Guatemalan Coffee Reserve traces its origins back to 1928 in a small village in the highlands of Huehuetenango, where our family began cultivating coffee primarily for personal use, sharing only the surplus with the local market. For generations, coffee has been part of our daily lives, grown using traditional and cultural methods that shape its character and flavor.
In early 2020, we expanded our vision beyond Guatemala, bringing our heritage coffee from the highlands of Huehuetenango to the United States. At Guatemalan Coffee Reserve, we are passionate about delivering a unique coffee experience—carefully selecting the finest beans and roasting them with precision to highlight their natural qualities.
Driven by our love for coffee and our commitment to quality, we take pride in sharing the rich and diverse flavors of Guatemalan coffee with coffee lovers across the United States. Our coffees are thoughtfully processed using washed, honey, and natural (cherry) methods, allowing us to offer a range of meticulously roasted profiles that reflect the diversity of Guatemala’s highland terroir.
